Who We Are
The MS Treatment Centre was originally founded by people in Sussex with Multiple Sclerosis. The majority of our volunteers and trustees are people living with or supporting someone with a long term health conditions such as MS.
Our Staff
We currently have two members of full time staff and one part time staff member.
Alan Taylor
Centre Manager
Alan has managed the centre for the past 14 years, he has actively worked towards expanding the centre and the services we provide. Alan is at the centre 5 days a week, and is always available whether it be for a friendly chat or for advice on our therapies, classes and other resources. Joanna Hedges
Deputy Manager and Fundraising Events Coordinator
Joanna joined the centre in 2010, in a new full time position created due to the centre’s expansion, Joanna support’s Alan in the Centre management, but also focuses her time on organising Fundraising Events, to help fund the centre’s running costs. Jane Carroll
Fundraising Co-ordinator
Jane has worked at the centre for the past 4 years, she works with us 12 hours a week and concentrates her time on finding grants and other forms of funding to help us maintain the centre’s running costs, and expand our services. Our Interns
We are very lucky to have some great people who come and work with us through various work placement scheme’s.
Our Volunteers
We have an amazing group of people who come to the centre everyday to help us, with out our volunteer’s we would not be able to open 6 days a week, and provide some evening services. They help us run our reception, our HBO chamber, our kitchen , our social and fundraising events.
